Both Patrick and Jamie qualified in 2008 and 2010 respectively and joined their sisters Louise and Audrey and further expanded by opening Cloneety Late night Pharmacy in 2018.
Along with our other qualified healthcare family members and qualified, friendly staff, we are committed and dedicated to maintaining the high standard of quality care that you deserve
Louise qualified in 1989 as a pharmacy Technician and worked in Dublin for a year before
returning home to work along side her Father .This was pre computer times, yes we did exist!
prescriptions were recorded by hand in a ledger and labels were hand written .
Fast forward 30 + years, Pharmacy has seen many changes ,she enjoys working with her
siblings and using all the technology 😄 and reminding them of how easy they have it
She enjoys walking her dogs and gardening and attending matches anywhere from The Fraher
field to The Etihad !
Audrey qualified as a General Nurse from St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin and nursed in many
specialities both at home and abroad, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge, which she
draws on continuously throughout her working day. Having returned from Australia, she then went
onto to study Occupational Health in NUIG and worked in this area for many years building on her
experience of healthcare provision to many industries, businesses and the public. Audrey joined her
father Austin and sister Louise in the pharmacy in the late 1990’s and continued to further her
studies to qualify as a pharmacy technician. Throughout the years when working with her Dad and
Mum, she remembers “their total dedication and attention to customer care along with their
kindness and that “personal touch” in all they did throughout their daily encounters within the
pharmacy…and indeed outside of work”… keeping this legacy of care for our customers and friends
as a priority is what’s important for me in our family business.
Audrey is a Mum to Oisín and Eimear, and has been involved in many charitable initiatives within the
community…She loves watching our native sport especially our Déise hurlers and the Irish Rugby
team,
Is bréa leí ár dteanga Gaeilinn agus déanfaidh sí iarracht cúpla focail a labhairt nuair a bhíonn
seans aici! ….enjoys the odd sing song or two, loves chilling with a good book or movie…but loves
being a Mum the most
Louise (Pharmacy Technician &Owner)
Patrick graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2007. After a brief term working for a local
chain of pharmacies in the north east, he returned home to work with his father Austin and 2 sisters
Audrey & Louise. “There have been quite a few changes and challenges in pharmacy over the last 15
years, but I think we can be proud to say we remain 100% patient and customer focused” He enjoys
training underage teams in GAA and Soccer while playing on a few club teams himself.
Youngest of the Hallahans involved in the business, Jamie is a graduate of the University of
Sunderland in 2009. He moved to Belfast where he became a manager for the Co-operative
Pharmacy group. Over the 3 years spent there, Jamie dedicated his time to providing a vast number
of services from Smoking Cessation, Flu vaccination, Blood pressure checks, cholesterol testing and
Medication Reviews. Joining the team in 2012, Jamie has continued to help provide these services
for the Pharmacy customer’s base. He will be found working in both shops and is always there to
help in any way possible. He is very active in the community and would never shy away to help a
good cause. He loves sport and will often be seen enjoying Tennis, Golf and Swimming.
